Launch of Haute Couture Exhibition & Singapore Fashion Film Festival

With Singapore breaking into the top 10 global fashion capital (standing at 8) and Louis Vuitton's newly opened Island Maison store.. Things are just getting more exciting for the fashionista in Singapore!

I am incredibly happy to share the news that eight couturiers will be showing their designs at Haute Couture Week in Singapore during the Women's Fashion Week! They are Alexis Mabille, Anne Valérie Hash, Christophe Josse, Dominique Sirop, Eymeric François, Gustavo Lins, Maxime Simoens and Stéphane Rolland.

Last Wednesday I attended the launch of Haute Couture Exhibition ahead of Women's Fashion Week on October 6, 2011 at The Shoppes located in Marina Bay Sands in Singapore. Here's a little sneak peek:

Designer Alexis Mabille specially flew in from Paris to attend the event and press conference. He also showed five designs from his Spring 2011 Haute Couture collection.

Renowned aesthetic and skin care doctor, Dr Georgia Lee was also present at the event wearing a sequin dress from Prada Fall/Winter 2011. A leopard print pump from Yves Saint Laurent to spice up her look.

The exhibition is located at Grand Colonnade South (between Ferragamo and Chanel).
