Girls' Generation models with "Lady Dior" for Cosmopolitan March 2011

Aside from endorsing and appearing in the beauty ads for Dior, the ladies of Girls' Generation models alongside Lady Dior Cannage bag for March's issue of Cosmopolitan.

Personally don't think the editorial "sells", their poses are too cheesy and definitely not something a lady who wears Christian Dior or carries a Lady Dior would do, isn't it? I didn't like the styling of the shoot either.

  1. I completely agree, it seems a little casual for the Cannage bag; it would've been better if they had shooting on location (especially as its spring) and wore something a little more elegant (more like a 'Lady who Lunches' type look)...

  2. I agree with you but it's cosmo. It's supposed to be girlie and fun, not high fashion. Maybe they should have used another magazine to feature such a bag

  3. I agree with you, this wasn't the best way to feature the Lady Dior bag. But its Cosmo, their editorials are supposed to be girlie and fun. A more high end fashion magazine would probably been a better choice.

  4. I know what everyone is talking about. But think that is the whole point. Aiming for a younger generation, not-your-mom's-purse. It is versatile, dress it up or down. Personally, I loved the spread, sure it is not unique nor avant garde but I thought it was a cheery, young, and very Girls' Generation .

  5. It's fairly evident that Dior is aiming for a younger demographic with this bag; DJ Harley Viera-Newton is also a brand ambassador for this particular product. They definitely knew who they would be appealing to by choosing SNSD; in this light, I think the editorial does that nicely. Not a fan of Tiffany's picture or Sooyoung's outfit, but Yuri and Hyo look awesome.
