Comme Des Garçons opens its first flagship store in Seoul, Korea

On August 28, Comme Des Garçons held its first flagship store opening at Hanam-Dong, Seoul. The event attracted A-list stars like Seo In Young (서인영), Ha Ji Won (하지원), Bae Doo Na (배두나), Clazziquai's Horan (호란), Jang Mi Hee (장미희), SE7EN (최동욱), Cha Seung Won (차승원), Kim Song Soo (김성수).


South Korea's fashion models Song Kyunga (송경아) and Jang Yoon Ju (장윤주) were also present at the event.

Kim So Yeon wears Alberta Ferretti for Prosecutor Princess

I know I have mentioned that I have stopped posting about Kim So Yeon (김소연)'s outfits in drama, Prosecutor Princess. I happened to chance upon this dress she wore when I was viewing Alberta Ferretti's collection (which I would love to post). And I know many of you are HUGE fans of Kim So Yeon.

Yes, the dress is from Alberta Ferretti Resort 2010 collection. Kim So Yeon (김소연) was photographed in the dress with Suecomma Bonnie studded sandals for Prosecutor Princess' drama poster.

I'm not too fond of the dress and its color, but I'm glad she chopped off a few inches off the dress. Do you think she worked the dress or not?

f(x) models in Calvin Klein Jeans for W Korea

Victoria, Krystal and Sulli of f(x) recently became the new models for Calvin Klein Jeans. They also scored a shoot with W Korea. Besides modeling in Calvin Klein Jeans, they also wore items from Baebae, Miss Sixty, Mzuu, Namuhana, S&B Jewelry and more. Check out the shoot!

Girls' Generation does Cosmopolitan

For the month of September, Girls' Generation were the cover girls alongside with Lee Hyori (이효리) and Kim Yun Jin (김윤진). The ladies were dressed in Bruno Mali, Burberry Prorsum, Miu Miu, Moschino, Mulberry, Nine West, Salvatore Ferragamo and more. Check it out :


Not a huge fan of the shoot. I definitely prefer them in CeCi wearing girly-pink clothes than Burberry Prorsum and Miu Miu Fall items. They all have a pretty face, but they don't sell the clothes (worn in photoshoot) well- just my opinion. Tell me what you think.

Lee Si Young wears Alberta Ferretti and Jimmy Choo

Actress Lee Si Young (이시영) attended the press conference of upcoming drama, Mischievous Kiss on August 26, 2010 at Imperial Palace Hotel.

Lee Si Young (이시영) wore a dress from Alberta Ferretti Fall 2010 collection, pairing it with a pair of Jimmy Choo Darcy Sandals which retails for €795.00 on jimmychoo.com.


Love the look! Those shoes make her legs looks slender. I only wished she did not put on the wig and wore less accessories. I also prefer the modified dress to the runway's look.

The press conference was also streamed live via Facebook that day.
Mischievous Kiss will premiere on September 1 through MBC network.

Se7en wears Comme des Garçons to Golden Fishery

Singer Se7en (최동욱) who recently made a comeback with Digital Bounce (mini-album) was invited to MBC's variety show, Golden Fishery. In the episode which aired on August 18, Se7en talked about his stage name, American debut, Park Han Byul (박한별) and many more.


It was love at first sight when I saw the top he was wearing. Little did I know it was from Comme des Garçons until a friend told me. From CDG Fall 2011 Menswear collection, the simple top features a clip on the chest.

Seo In Young wears Blumarine and Johnny Hates Jazz

4th Annual 2010 Mnet 20's Choice Awards took place on August 26, 2010 in Seoul, by the pool of Sheraton Grand Walker-Hill River Park. The host for the event were singer Seo In Young (서인영) as well as 2AM's Jo Kwon (조권).


Seo In Young (서인영) wore a grey dress from Blumarine Fall 2010 collection. Completing her outfit with a bold statement necklace, silver Swavorski clutch and Gucci Venus Heel from Resort 2010 collection.

I love the drama the train of the dress brings but I dislike how the outfit is accessorized.
If you didn't know, Blumarine is one of the Korean celebrities' favorite brand.


She later changed into a mini dress from Johnny Hates Jazz Fall 2010 collection with Camilla Skovgaard Wedge Ankle Boot. Pop-Singer Son Dambi was also recently seen wearing the same dress on CeCi's September cover.

Here are all the covers of the month of September! I was disappointed Dazed & Confused used a reprint but also in love with Cosmopolitan's September covers! Kim Yun Jin (김윤진) rocking the gorgeous red Versus dress. Lee Hyori (이효리) simply oozes sexiness, not such a huge fan of Girls' Generations' cover because of the color palette but they are rocking some serious fashion.. Burberry Prorsum Fall 2010 Collection. Please fill me in with the unknowns!

Stars attends Marc By Marc Jacobs Fall/Winter Fashion Show

Marc By Marc Jacobs (MBMJ) held its Fall/Winter 2010 fashion show in Seoul, Korea on August 25, 2010. Attracting celebrities like Hwang Jung Eum (황정음), Lee Si Young (이시영), Song Ji Hyo (송지효), girl group f(x), Chun Jung Myung (천정명) and many more. Check out the outfits breakdown of the female celebrities!


Hwang Jung Eum (황정음) wore MBMJ Cotton-Twill Military Coat (USD$500.00) as well as the Bronte Lace Dress (USD$760.00). Completing the look with a pair of black boots (probably also from MBMJ). -She makes me wonder if it's really cold in Korea right now.


Lee Si Young (이시영) who was one of my favorites the night wore MBMJ Kelly Sweater (USD$228.00), Chrissie Patchwork Skinny Jeans (USD$228.00). Completing the look with a pair of embellished open toe boots and MBMJ bag.


Song Ji Hyo (송지효) who is now a permanent member of variety show, Running Man wore MBMJ Ripley Tartan Dress (USD$548.00), black wedges pair with socks (similar to runway) and Saddlery Sophie Leather Shoulder Bag (USD$478.00) in black. -Song Ji Hyo was my best dressed for the event. I love how she accessorized the outfit.

Victoria of f(x) wore the Printed Dress/Dark Blue Star Dress (USD$688.50), Striped Espadrilles (USD$575.10) as well as MBMJ Natasha Leather Bag (USD$330.00).


Krystal of f(x) wore MBMJ Patchwork Denim Dress (USD$268.00) as well as Classic Q Groove Satchel (USD$348.00) while Sulli wore Greta Twill Romper (USD$328.00) with the Classic Ukita Bag (USD$395) in black.

Lee Na Young wears Miu Miu to Fugitive Press Conference in Macau

Upcoming KBS melodrama, Fugitive held a press conference on August 25, 2010 in Macau. Cast members, Rain, Lee Na Young (이나영), Yoon Jin Seo (윤진서), Lee Jeong Jin (이정진) as well as Daniel Henney were in attendance.

Actress Lee Na Young (이나영) wore a dress from Miu Miu Fall/Winter 2010 collection. She completed the look with tan heels.

Nice to see Lee Na Young (이나영) back on the red carpet! She's the second to wear Miu Miu but I'm not a huge fan of the dress. The dress looks a little heavy on her but she definitely has the height for it. Love it or hate it?

Besides Rain who will star as the male main lead, expect high profile cast members like Daniel Henney, Gong Hyo Jin (공효진) as well as international actors like Naoto Takenaka, Uehara Takako and Eric Tsang. MBLAQ will also make a cameo in the drama.

Fugitive is set to premiere on September 29, replacing Baker King, Kim Tak Goo via KBS.

Jay Park jumps onto Neil Barrett's Bandwagon

I thought No Min Woo (노민우) would put an end to "Who wore Neil Barrett better?" poll.

On August 26, 2010, singer Jay Park attended Sidus HQ Charity Event wearing the same shirt which Big Bang's Tae Yang and No Min Woo (노민우) wore on different occassions. It's funny how there are tons of designers out there but their stylists choose to put them in something which been worn not once but twice. What do you think?

With 2NE1 comeback ahead, I still have quite a lot of drafts to publish! Way back from the days 2NE1 performs to 'Pretty Boy' which I have been delaying for months now (ooopsy).

At the recent Etude House CF filming, we've seen CL wearing Christopher Kane, Sandara Park (박산다라) wearing Kokon To Zai.. and now it's time for Park Bom (박봄)!

Park Bom (박봄) wore a dress from H&M (Hennes and Mauritz)'s July 2010 releases as well as a Jeremy Scott Flintstone Skirt from Spring/Summer 2010. Completing the look with a pair of Pierre Hardy Limited Multi Color Sneakers retailing for USD$612.00 on Luisa Via Roma.

BoA poses for W Korea's September Issue

If you have been following Queen BoA (권보아) on Twitter, you'll have seen her tweet about her W Korea's shoot. W is the second magazine to do a shoot with her since her comeback, another interesting shoot! She wore garments from.Ann Demeulemeester, Dior, Louis Vuitton, Nina Ricci, Thomas Wylde and Vivenne Westwood. Check it out!


Not a huge fan, seems like I've seen this kind of shoot a thousand times. Definitely nice to see different sides of BoA. What about you?

2NE1 for Allure Korea September

Instead of the usual fashion editorials, members of 2NE1 pose for Allure Korea's September issue. Sandara Park and CL wore oufits from Doho, Future Classic, Givenchy, Hussein Chalayan as well as Manoush. Check out the shoot :


Nice to see the girls for a beauty editorial. Even though its a beauty ed, the girls were dressed in fabulous clothings. I've seen the outtakes floating around, I hope it isn't just an editorial with Sandara Park and CL alone.

2NE1 is set to make a comeback early September.

Wonder Girls' Yubin wears Alexander McQueen

After holding a successful concert in Taiwan, the Wonder Girls arrived in South Korea on August 24, 2010. Of course, catching the attention of the media with their fashion styles as usual. Although nothing fancy or as quirky as 2NE1, check out what Yubin (유빈) wore.

Yubin (유빈) who recently dyed her hair red x blonde wore Alexander McQueen Lace-Print Leggings from Resort 2010 collection. The Lace-Print Leggings retailed for USD$635.00 on Net-A-Porter, no longer available.


Cyndi Lauper also wore the same leggings to M.A.C Viva Glam Lady GaGa x Cyndi Lauper launch in London earlier this year.


Both of them carried the leggings well in their own ways, but I wouldn't wear something from Alexander McQueen casually like Yubin.

Go Ara wears Miu Miu to SM Town Concert Press Conference

SM Town Live '10 World Tour is here! The 6-hour concert was held at Seoul Olympic Stadium. SM artists attended the press conference prior to the concert on August 21, 2010.

With a-list celebrities like BoA, Girls' Generation, Super Junior and many more, actress Go Ara (고아라) was also present at the press conference.

The young actress wore a dress from Miu Miu Fall/Winter 2010 collection. Completing the look with a simple black open-toe heel.

It's always nice to see someone wear a new designer on the red carpet. Well, not new-new but a designer which have not been worn before. The Korean magazines are already picking up Miu Miu's Fall collection, pretty sure more celebrities will start to wear them.

SM Town Live '10 World Tour will also be heading to Los Angeles, Tokyo and Shanghai.

Girls' Generation Choi Soo Young wears Coming Step

SBS celebrated their 20th Anniversary on August 16, 2010. Attracting stars like BoA, Girls' Generation, KARA, Kim So Yeon (김소연), Son Dambi (손담비) and many more.

Choi Soo Young (최수영) of Girls' Generation or better known as SNSD was wearing an outfit from Korean label, Coming Step. From its Fall/Winter 2010 collection, also worn by Victoria's Secret's model, Miranda Kerr who models for Coming Step's ad campaign.

Lee Hyori scores another shoot with Cosmopolitan

Aside from being the diva and queen of kpop, she is also probably the "Idol Queen" in variety shows. Have you guys caught Yoo Jae Suk (유재석)'s Running Man yet? After Season 1 of Family Outing ceased production and a new set of cast were replaced, I have yet to find a variety show that tickles my funny bones.

I was beyond ecstatic when I was watching Running Man and saw Lee Hyori (이효리), Kim Jong Kook (김종국) etc.. on the show. I would definitely recommend the show to you, catch it if you haven't!


The variety "Idol Queen" posed for September's issue of Cosmopolitan magazine. Aside from being the cover girl along side with Girls' Generation and Kim Yun Jin (김윤진) for their 10th Anniversary issue. Lee Hyori (이효리) is a 'Fun Fearless Female' for Cosmopolitan! Check out the shoot :


I was actually hoping for yet another sexy shoot since the cover spells sexy. But was pretty disappointed at her editorial. Of course, Lee Hyori (이효리) is looking gorgeous and youthful; nothing close to being a 30 year old lady.
