Park Bom wears Christopher Kane and Alexander McQueen in 'It Hurts'

2NE1 released their latest music video for my favorite song off their 1st full-length album, It Hurts on November 1, 2010 (supposedly to be released on October 31). Channeling a gothic-theme for Halloween.

The music video was interesting and boring to me at the same time. I love how they chose such a "dark" concept which is unlike the Korean industry (think SNSD, 4minute music videos). But also wished there were more outfit changes, were their stylists lazy or they wanted it simple?

In the music video, Park Bom (박봄) wore a dress from Christopher Kane Fall 2010 collection. I guess it's no surprised why they picked Christopher Kane considering having seen them in his designs.

The lace dress features a patent leather bodice embroidered with crystals. Her outfit was styled with patent boots and furry accessories which I really dislike. I'm not loving her hair color either, whether it's a wig or not. I like her red hair better.

In the video, she also wore a burnished silver-tone metal skull ring with heart detailed from Alexander McQueen. The Swarovski Metal Skull Ring retailed for USD$320.00 on Net-A-Porter, no longer available.

Do you love her outfit? Leave comments below and rate the post! If you have any request or questions, feel free to ask me on Formspring.me.

  1. I do believe they make it simple becos this time they wanna focus on their vocal and talent instead different outfit all the times like their previous MV:)

  2. the video is boring for me too and i don't like this song, but there was Lee Hyuk Soo and this is a big plus for video.
hair color of Park Bom is not beatiful, but with dress and umbrela it's look good.

  3. man you always seem particularly hard on 2ne1, the only ones in kpop who seem to give a shit about fashion.
rather than giving you the typical 2 different versions of a sexy black costume while i dance around, they give you something different and you are still not satisfied. lol

Some people say I'm bias over them and you're saying I'm particularly hard on them. All I can say is.. Fashion is subjective.

  5. I think this time around, they chose to do something that will emphasize another side of them, which is their vocals :) Nonetheless, I think they look great! They chose this theme because it the MV released on Halloween.

  6. I agree with you in a way... I wish they would showcase different designers.... Maybe more from South Korea...

I actually LOVED Bom's blue hair. The concept was more of a coolish, sombre look. Red hair would've (a) stood out too much against the black pallette
    (b) been too 'hot' for the concept
The fact that the blue is a muted, greyish colour gets rid of the Gaga/Katy Perry factor and personally makes it more classier for me in my opinion.

LOL, you're never satisfied with ANY outfit eiseoul! (I don't mean that it a nasty way... I just think it's funny. Sorry if I offended you!)
