Min Hyo Rin wears Lanvin for H&M to 2010 Style Icon Awards

The annual Style Icon Awards was held on November 17, 2010 at CJ E&M Center in Seoul, Korea. Not to miss out on the spectacular red carpet, stars like 2NE1, CN. Blue, Lee Min Jung (이민정), Min Hyo Rin (민효린), Song Joong Ki (송중기) and many others were dressed for the event.

Ha Ji Won (하지원) was the first to wear Lanvin for H&M in South Korea. Actress Min Hyo Rin (민효린) is the next in line to wear the collection before it goes on sale on November 23, 2010.

Min Hyo Rin (민효린) wore the floral dress which retails for USD$249.00. Completing the outfit with black suede wedges, white floral ring and silver clutch.

Absolutely adore the entire look although I'm not a big fan of the clutch. I wish more celebrities would be as bold as her to choose such bright (right in your face) prints. I would love the look more if her wedges were in red/pink.

Lanvin for H&M collection will go on sale in less than a week, it's time to gear up!

*Update : Min Hyo Rin (민효린) shortened the length of the skirt by folding the skirt?! Disaster. The dress is short enough. The change is not needed.

  1. Actually the dress looked not so bad in the ad but translated very badly in real life... The prints are just plain UGLY! I don't like at all.

  2. i think the dress-shortening was a thoughtful touch. to achieve a similar proportion on hyorin's body as is shown on the (much taller) model in the ad, the shortening was needed. whereas the hemline falls mid-thigh on the model, the dress unaltered might have fallen to hyorin's knees, giving it a whole different feel.
a lot of styles that looked on 5'11" runway models don't look so flattering on celebs with more down-to-earth bodies unless fitted properly. dresses tend to look one size too large, mini skirts fall at the knees, etc.
