2NE1 walks Mnet Asian Music Awards' Red Carpet

Mnet Asian Music Awards is back biger and stronger than ever before! The MAMA Awards was held at Cotai Arena, Venetian Hotel in Macau on November 28, 2010.

2NE1 arrived on the red carpet in Balmain and Azzedine Alaia, check out the break down of their outfits :

CL (이채린) arrived on the red carpet wearing Balmain Jacquard/Brocade Trench Coat with gold chains. She styled the coat with Tabitha Simmons Lace Up Corset Boots which she have been wearing a lot lately.

The pair of boots is available for purchase on Matches Fashion, Bergdorf Goodman, Browns Fashion, Luisa via Roma and Colette from USD$ 1825.05 - 2497.00.

Sandara Park (박산다라) took the limelight this time, dressed in Balmain Purple Feather Cape from Fall/Winter 2010 collection. Paired with a sheer t-shirt, Balmain denim and sandals. I wished she wore the black version of the fur instead, available on Net-A-Porter for USD$7555.00.

Do stay tuned to updates on another Korean celebrity wearing the Balmain Cape!

2NE1's youngest member, Gong Minzy (공민지) wore Balmain Double Breasted Brocade Jacket from its Fall/Winter 2010 collection (USD$10,085 on Net-A-Porter). I can't figure out what bottom was she wearing.. a skirt with tights and sheer stockings? The outfit was completed with Azzedine Alaïa Pony Hair Hiking Boots.

Park Bom (박봄) was the only member who was not dressed in Balmain but in Azzedine Alaïa instead. Her outfit was styled with a waist belt and Azzedine Alaïa boots. She was my favorite among the members.

The dress was also worn by Im Su Jung (임수정), Kim Kardashian and Bianca Brandolini D'adda. Check out the post here.

They were the biggest winner of the night, sweeping 'Artist of the Year', 'Album of the Year', 'Female Group', 'Best Digital Single' and 'Best Music Video' awards. Congratulations!

  2. I really don't know what to think about these outfits. I feel like Minzy was styled like an Ahjumma from the hair down to the long skirt with tights or whatever the hell she was wearing underneath and honestly, she's the youngest. Like stylists, seriously wtf?
    Her shoes were hot though!

Dara, she's so skinny so I think she should have worn super skinny jeans instead and I'm not a fan of that piece of fur especially from the back. It did not work for me especially when she went up on stage.

Bom looked great, especially her legs which look a mile long in that outfit haha, I like how it was accessorised with the belt, definately looks better than runway version.

CL looked fine. Love her shoes, the jacket's pretty cool too wonder what she was wearing underneath though. Does that make me sound like a perv? lol

Overall i think the stylists could have done better. A lot of the pieces are great individually but the way Viva H girls put it together just isnt working for me. Hope the stylists do a better job for Melon Awards!

Just what I thought! I doubt the stylist will put the girls in less "fashionable" outfits for Melons. I'm sure they will be drenched in designer outfits again. I was part disappointed at their outfits, no lie.

  4. even though Balmain is one of my fev brand but i am truly disappointed with this
u know, i was expecting something fresh.something different. but *sigh*

urmmm, i have to disagree about Bom outfit. perhaps, becos i am not fan of that kind of pattern plus there are lots of celebrities already wore that dress.

dara. oh my, i love that fur. but NOT that jeans and that shirt. it would be ok for me if she pair it with printed leggings/jegging

minzy. i love to die that jacket and her boots. but that hair -___- that hair destroyed her maknae status :((

and CL is my fev<3 the outfit is simple, but guess it suit with her status as the leader.

i wish i could yell to their new stylist and tell them "u called yourself viva H with kind of style?" -;-

  5. Dara's outfit was horrible. compared to the other three...her outfit was I'm not sure if I should say to casual or too.....I can't even think of a word. I wish they had of all dressed similarly to bom like in black in white

    and minzy....no.

  6. Actually I just saw Dara on taeyang stage...and I feel bad w her outfit the most,I don't know what about their stylist thinking to put those jeans on Dara (and also her sandal) ... This is Asian music award, right?? Is she too casual?? ok just compare to the other...if she took off that fur, I think she could go to shopping somewhere else..:( ... and for sexy dance Minzy,... I have a Question to her stylist.....Why you always merciless to my Minki??? ;(

Anyway, congratulation to 2ne1 and Bomie my best : ) ,she wore pretty dress to accept the award !!!

  7. okay, i still love 2NE1 and their style but they need to get other designers. i mean there are other designers out there. why don't they work with korean designers? i think that would be beneficial to both.

it's not super bad though. i love bom's dress :)
