McQueen sales spikes after designer's death

Since Alexander McQueen's death, sales of his clothing have soared 1,400 percent. The McQueen label broke even for the first time in 2007 and didn't turn a profit until 2008, albeit a small one. Last year it lost money, as many labels did, thanks to the recession. [Times UK]
